Detailed Itinerary
Day 1
Delhi
Our representative will pick you up at the Delhi Airport and take you to your hotel. On the way he’ll brief you about your tour, explains some cultural and social etiquettes, and answers questions that you might have.
Day 2
Delhi
A guided tour of Old and New Delhi. We’ll visit Jama Masjid and take a rickshaw tour through the bustling alleys of Chandni Chowk. Afterwards we’ll go to Humayun’s tomb, a UNESCO Site.
Day 3
Delhi- Agra
Arrive in Agra in the morning and then head to the Red Fort to listen to the epic tales of the Mughals. We can enjoy a sunset view of the Taj Mahal from across the river at Mehtab Bagh as well if you’d like.
Day 4
Agra-Ranthambhore
Bask in the glory of the Taj Mahal at sunrise and then we’ll drive to Bharatpur. On the way we’ll stop to visit the historic fort town of Fatehpur Sikri. Finally we’ll board our train to Ranthambhore National Park. Opon arrival you can unwind and relax at your hotel, in preparation for the epic safari to come.
Day 5
Ranthambhore National Park
Today is fully dedicated to spotting tigers. Chances are high in Ranthambhore, especially since we’ll be going on morning and evening safaris. Other commonly seen animals in the park include Nilgai, chital, sambar and barking deer.
Day 6
Ranthambhore -Jaipur
After one more morning safari we’ll depart for the pink city of Jaipur. The capital of the state of Rajasthan, it has a tumultuous past and is known for its many impressive monuments, such as its forts, palaces, observatories, and cenotaphs. An evening walk through the old bazaar highlights the city’s talented cooks and skilled jewellers.
Day 7
Jaipur
Move on to a guided tour of Jaipur, which starts in the magnificent Amber Fort, where you can ride an elephant through this historic monument. Later on discover the bygone charm of the City Palace and gaze upon the stars in the Astronomical Observatory.
Day 8
Jaipur- Delhi
The bittersweet day you’ll leave India. From Jaipur we’ll take a train or drive to Delhi, where you’ll catch your flight home, and reminisce about the many magical moments you experienced over the last week.
