Day 1
Mumbai
Meet our representative after your flight lands in Mumbai. On the way to the hotel he will brief you about your tour, cultural and social norms, and take up questions that you might have. He will also help you in completing check-in formalities.
Day 2
Mumbai
Mesmerizing Mumbai, India’s business capital, the hub of entertainment/ film industry (also known as Bollywood) where life continues non-stop. The highlights of the trip include a visit to Gateway of India, Elephanta Island (UNESCO) and a unique experience of the tinsel-town by the dawn.
Day 3
Mumbai – Goa
Frolic in the waves, walk on the beaches, romance by the sun… Goa is one of most popular tourist places in India. Formerly a Portuguese colony, the impact of which can be seen in its churches and buildings. On your first day you will go for a heritage walk in Old Goa and later visit St. Francis Church(a UNESCO site).
Day 4
Goa
There is lot to do in Goa and with so much of possibilities we have planned the second day of your stay in Goa according to your personal preference. Apart from getting enthralled at the cookery demo class do what your inclination says our expert will be willing to suggest places and activities for you.
Day 5
Goa - Hampi
Leave the captivating Goa for the delightful medieval city of Hampi. Mostly in ruins it’s a relaxing rendezvous. Even though your exploration of the city commences tomorrow get in groove of the leisurely pace of life with a relaxed evening watching the skyline yonder.
Day 6
Hampi
The journey into the medieval splendour of starts with the two UNESCO World Heritage sites of Aihole and the Hampi ruins. Standing as silent sentinel these abandoned historic places speak of the story of valour, magnificent rock-cut architecture and life in general.
Day 7
Hampi – Shivmoga
From Hampi to Shimoga is a relaxing journey. As you watch the majestic vista pass by and witness the green fields and the rocky boulders living together you will perhaps find becoming one with the eternity. Later wander around in the royal precincts of Shivappanaila Palace Museum and come alive to history.
Day 8
Shivmoga – Chikmagalur
The contrast in the landscape is striking. After quite a breathtaking drive reaching Chikmagalur it’s easy to lose yourself in the verdant environment. Soak yourself in the surroundings offering majestic views and go for a Country Walk and roam around in the Coffee Museum. You will also visit Veeranarayana Temple.
Day 9
Chikmagalur
Drive west to the scenic Chikmagalur known for its coffee plantations and tea estates. It’s a mesmerizing place that abounds in natural beauty that has all the ingredients to enrapture your heart. Enjoy your stayon the foothills of Mullayanagiri range and go out for a trek.
Day 10
Chikmagalur- Hassan
Famous for its ruins and its religious architecture Hassan is one of the most striking places in Karnataka. Offering a peep into the past, the country’s religious beliefs and cultural practices, and how together they have went on to shape life with awe-inspiring Hoysala temples of Belur and Halebid as the centrepoint.
Day 11
Hassan – Coorg
Take a leisurely journey by road to Coorg, another charming city on the hills which is considered the Scotland of India. Popular for its breathtaking vista, lush forests and acres of plantations lose yourself in the quaint charm of a coracle ride besides taking a heritage walk and a visit to Abbey Falls.
Day 12
Coorg
After exploring the natural beauty of the place the day is dedicated to its architecture. Amongst the places that you see are Raja’s Seat, Omkareshwara Temple and thereafter an excursion to Dubare Elephant Camp. Wash, feed and ride elephants if you are so inclined.
Day 13
Coorg – Mysore
After vising Namdroling Monastery en-route your day will centre around the famous Mysore Palace. A grand architecture it’s a richly embellished huge stone building featuring a sprawling garden that glitters like anything on certain occasions such as Diwali. Visit Bull Temple thereafter.
Day 14
Mysore – Sultan Bathery
Drive to Sultan Battery, situated among the beautiful green hills where spices are cultivated. Enjoy trekking in the plantation; visit the watchtower constructed by Tipu Sultan. While in Sultan Bathery you will also visit Chamundi Temple and Edakkal Caves.
Day 15
Sultan Bathery
The day devoted to the lip-smacking spicy local cuisine and the roaring wildlife. Get in the groove of eating with a cooking demo by the expert. If you so want you can even try your hands at the recipe enjoy what you have cooked. Also visit Muthanga Wildlife for the experience of nature.
Day 16
Sultan Bathery – Ooty
Roaming around doing nothing is one of the greatest charms of Ooty—just you, your companion and your thoughts. Amongst the highest points in South India on the Nilgiris or the Blue Mountains the great charm, apart from soaking in the scenic splendour is a leisurely stroll in the local market.
Day 17
Ooty
Nature truly comes alive at Ooty. Featured in many films it is an idyllic place to idle in. Places to visit include captivating Botanical Garden and Avalanche Lake. Further, you will also visit the Wax Museum where you will get captivated by its eclectic collection.
Day 18
Ooty - Coimbatore
Your last day. As your drive from Ooty to Coimbatore for you flight back home the experiences of the places and of the hospitality and the various interactions you have had will run in your mind like a film in a flashback exhorting you to visit India again.
