Arrive Delhi. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon witness the epochal eras that went into making it a grand city. You have option of visiting some ancient sites, or watching the medieval grandeur or for that matter sightseeing of some colonial edifices or may be revel in its cultural potpourri in the old bazaars.

Fly to Guwahati and check into your hotel on arrival. Evening is at your leisure. Called the Gateway to the Northeast it is known for its rich culture, dance and silk weaving. In the pre-modern times the hinterlandareas, which were difficult to access, developed as centre of secret sects.

Visit Sualkuchi, famous for its silk weaving industry. You can also be the witness to the process that involves rearing of silk worms, to the making of yarns and ultimately watch it being converted into fabric. Later visit Hajo, which has shrines of three major religions—Hinduism, Islam and Buddhism.
