Day 1

Kathmandu

The mesmerizing first day. Meet our representative and a basic introduction to the culture and lifestyle patterns. Later visit Durbar Square, the Old Royal Palace, the magnificent temples of Taleju and Kasthamandap apart from the Palace of the living goddess Kumari.

Day 2

Kathmandu - Pokhara

Road trip to Pokhara, 210 km. Enjoy the incredible views of Annapurna I (8091 m) and IV, the Machhapuchhre (6977 m). Take a boat ride at Fewa Lake. The day is filled with lots of interesting activities and take you some of the awe-inspiring scenic splendours of the city.

Day 3

Pokhara

Explore the city, climb to World Peace Stupa perched on a hill overlooking Fewa Lake and visit Tal Barahi Temple at the center of the lake. See the International Mountain Museum, the Tibetan monastery Hemja and the oldest temple in Pokhara Bindebashini temple.

Day 4

Pokhara - Chandrakot - Birethanti

Meet your guide and your porter and drive to Lumle for the mid-mountain hiking. Enjoy a leisure walk through the terrace agriculture fields and spend time in Gurung people. From Chandrakot walk for two hours to reach Lama Khet, crossing the Modi River and stay for the night at Sanctuary Lodge near the village of Birethanti.

Day 5

Birethanti-Majhgaon

A leisurely walk for 4 hours to Gundrung along the Modi River. Visit the mountain home of Gurung, see the museum in the village of Tanchok. Opportunity also exists to learn daily rituals and customs. Spend your night at Gurung Lodge, built in traditional Nepalese style. Each room offers spectacular views of the mountains.

Day 6

Majhgaon- Dhampus

It takes four hours walk to reach the village of Dhampus. Walk through splendid tropical forests of orchids, magnolia and rhododendron. Visit Pothana, which has a large Tibetan community. Enjoy the majestic view of Annapurna and of the sacred mountain Machhapuchhre (6997 m). Spend night at the Basanta Lodge.

Day 7

Dhampus – Kande – Pokhara

A leisurely walk lastingabout one hour thirty minutes will take you to your destination Pokhara. On the way go past the scenic village of Kande comprising of about 400 houses. Relax, rejuvenate and interact with its inhabitants and get to up close their life, their struggles and their aspirations. Surely it’s an uplifting experience.

Day 8

Pokhara – Kathmandu

Take a flight to Kathmandu and in the afternoon go on a tour with tour with private English speaking guide and driver. The tour includes Place the Royal Palace (Durbar Square) and surrounding streets and palaces of Kumari, a girl considered a living goddess, visit the Swayambhunath Stupa, perched on a hill and surrounded Boudhanath Stupa in the village populated by Tibetans.

Day 9

Kathmandu

In the morning take a tour of Bungamati and Patan villages. Patan also known as “the city of beauty” (Lalitpur) is known for its architectural beauty. Get amazed by its red brick pagodas, temples and palaces. Also visit Bhaktapur, the ancient capital of the Malla kings.

Day 10

Kathmandu - Home

Catch your international flight back home. As your plane soars high up in the air your will witness a carpet of magical cornucopia spread on the earth below. Try to identify the places you have learned about as the sun’s rays casts its glow over the Himalayan mountains.
